The Thermo 42i measures levels of nitrogen oxide (NO-NO2-NOx) in the emissions from a source using chemiluminescent technology, generating three continuous signals: NO, NO2 and NOx. All three measurements are independent and have available outputs on the back of the analyzer. Ambient monitoring and dilution CEMS are common uses for this device.
