CleanAir Method 5 Heated Sampling Probe

CleanAir EPA Method 5 Heated Sampling Probes feature a unique sheathed design that allows quick and easy replacement of pitot, stack thermocouple, and liner. Geometric calibration of pitot is included. Optional wind tunnel calibration. Custom lengths are available.
Method 5 Probes can be configured in the following configurations:
- Standard Method 5 Probe with Silicone Heater
- High Temperature Method 5 Probe with Cable Heater
- Water-Cooled Method 5 Probe with Silicone Heater
- High Velocity High temperature Method 5 Probe with Cable Heater
Standard Method 5 Probe
- Heated Liner – 28/12 ball joint o-ring, 14/35 male taper or 5/8″ chamfered end.
- Liner material – (P) Pyrex (Q) Quartz (S) 316 stainless steel (I) Inconel (T) Titanium
- Type K probe liner thermocouple with standard male plug
- Type K stack thermocouple with standard male plug
- Type “S” pitot
- Service/Calibration
- Power Requirement: 120V AC or 220V configurations are available.
- *Note: Standard probes use a flexible silicone heater (Max temp. 450 deg. F). Optional high temperature heaters are available.
- *Note: Lengths below indicate effective length. To determine overall length, add 12″. Custom probe lengths and materials are available. Please specify liner material when ordering.
High Temperature Method 5 Probe
- High temperature testing to 800° F
- Solid, stainless steel HT cable heater
- Sheathed liner & components
- Pyrex, quartz, SS Inconel & Hastelloy liners available
HV/HT Method 5 Probe
- Includes safety stop ring for positive or negative pressure
- Available with or without HT SS cable heater
- Sheathed liner & components
- Pyrex, Quartz, SS, Inconel, & Hastelloy liners available
H2O/Water-Cooled Probe
- High-temperature testing to 1,850° F
- Inconel removable liner, pitot tubes and thermocouple
- Available quartz, hastelloy or titanium liners
- Chamfered, 28/12 ball joint and tapered liner connections
