The CleanAir CEM Heated Filter Probe has an integral filter chamber that will accept a glass fiber filter cartridge or a stainless steel sintered frit. Two stages of filtration may be achieved by using an in-stack coarse 20-micron SS frit (or 10-micron) on the probe end and a fine .02-micron filter in the chamber. The probe and filter chamber are heated by the same reliable standard silicone heater or an optional high temperature cable heater eliminating the need for multiple temperature controllers.

Stainless Steel Frit Protector

The Sintered Stainless Steel Fritted Filter is an excellent choice for keeping particulate out of your probes and lines. These 20 micron frits are cleanable and feature durable long lasting stainless steel construction with 1/4″ NPT connection. By equiping a frit protrector with the stainless steel frited filter, the filter can be protected in harsh environments from accidental contact.

Disposable Finite Filter Elements

Elements are specified for particulate removal where corrosive gases are to be filtered as they have excellent chemical resistance. They are also used when highly reactive gases are being analyzed since they exhibit very low levels of adsorption. The borosilicate microfiber provides relatively high flow rates with low pressure drops which is critical in any analytical application. The PVDF binder creates a non-reactive surface which allows accurate sample analysis.
