CAI 700 LX Series analyzers are the first generation capable of remote access and control.
FID analyzers rely on the Flame Ionization Detection principle to measure the total concentration of hydrocarbons in a gas sample. The gas sample becomes ionized in the flame and the electrostatic field causes the charged particles to migrate, creating a small current that is measured by the amplifier. The current is directly proportional to the amount of hydrocarbon in the sample.
CAI HFID analyzers can measure THC in ppm or percent levels. They are ideal for applications such as:
