ARA N-FRM Sampler
Rental Available
The ARA N-FRM Sampler is a portable, battery-powered particulate sampler that establishes a new class of air sampler we call “Near FRM”. While it is not a certified US EPA Federal Reference Method sampler, the N-FRM Sampler delivers FRM accuracy at a fraction of the cost. It is the first of its kind to complete 24-hour sampling periods utilizing only battery-power at 16.7 LPM.
The compact sampler collects 24-hour TSP, PM10, or PM2.5 filter samples and can simultaneously measure and log all real-time sampling parameters, meteorological data, and particulate counts. The N-FRM Sampler can be equipped with an optional PEET Anemometer and is capable of operating in directional sampling mode. It can also be equipped with a light scattering particle sensor to log temporal particulate variations.
