Stand-Alone air monitoring equipment, known as packable, portable, movable, or suitcase instrumentation, is designed to be easily moved and set up on-location for various testing scenarios. Instruments are often equipped with a carrying case, handle, backpack or harness, making them simple to transport.
Considered all-in-one systems, many instruments must be paired with minimal additional equipment and contain everything users need to collect measurements or readings. Some systems include span and zero gas cylinders, and feature bump test and calibration capabilities, swappable sensors and batteries.
Common additional equipment requirements include probes, tubing or sample lines, and wireless connectivity equipment such as a cell phone or a Wi-Fi network, enabling users to take full advantage of rich product feature sets.
